Cambodia Prepares to Showcase Its Splendor! The World Will Discover Khmer Culture and Smile at the "Village de la Francophonie 2026"

Cambodia is fully prepared to welcome the global community at the major side event "Village de la Francophonie" on the occasion of the Kingdom of Cambodia hosting the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026. Speaking at the workshop to promote the organization of this event, Mr. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, emphasized that this program operates under the theme "Khmer Smile, Francophonie Smile" with the aim of showcasing Cambodia's warmth, cultural identity, cuisine, and creative capacity to nearly 90 OIF member countries, as well as international guests from around the world.

A particularly attractive highlight is the lofty decision by Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet to provide all the locations and exhibition booths within the "Village de la Francophonie" free of charge. This incentive measure is intended to open opportunities for all ministries and institutions, the private sector, small and medium-sized enterprises, artistic groups, and various development partners to exhibit their works, products, and tourism potential, as well as investment opportunities, without any costs for the locations.

Finally, the Minister of Tourism called on all relevant parties, including tourism associations, hotel owners, restaurants, resorts, producers, and educational institutions, to actively collaborate in organizing activities and exhibitions to make them vibrant.
