The minimum wage for workers in the textile, garment, footwear, travel goods and bag manufacturing sectors for 2027 has been officially set at US$212 per month. This figure is an increase of US$2 from US$210, the minimum wage for 2026.
The increase to US$212 was decided as an additional provision by Prime Minister Hun Manet after tripartite representatives voted on 30 September 2026 to set the wage at US$210. This additional decision effectively raised the 2027 minimum wage by US$2.
Along with the new minimum wage of US$212, Prime Minister Hun Manet also continued to maintain the transportation allowance of US$2.5 for workers. This allowance was kept in line with the spirit of the agreement reached on 20 March 2026 during the fuel crisis.
