Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice-Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), on October 2, 2026, met a delegation from Citystar Group, led by Mr. Jean-Louis Charon, Founder and Shareholder, for a courtesy meeting and working discussion on the progress and investment direction of the company in Cambodia.
During the meeting, the Citystar Group representatives presented the company's investment activities in Cambodia over more than 20 years and expressed their appreciation for the support from the CDC. The company also outlined its plans to expand investment in the tourism and hotel sectors by bringing in five-star hotel investment partners and developing high-end accommodation projects in Phnom Penh, the capital.
In response, Sun Chanthol welcomed the company's additional investment plans and highlighted Cambodia's peace, political stability, and favorable investment climate. He reaffirmed that the CDC will continue to provide the necessary coordination and support to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the company's investment projects.
