Cambodia is advancing reforms in the water supply sector by reinforcing law enforcement, promoting investment, and improving clean water service delivery.
This was stated by His Excellency Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, during a working meeting with a World Bank delegation led by Mr. Michael Webster, Regional Water Practice Manager for East Asia and Pacific, and Ms. Tania Meyer, World Bank Country Manager for Cambodia, together with senior water specialists, on 6 October 2026, at the Ministry's headquarters.
