Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet congratulated the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on economic growth of 8.02% in 2025 and 9.01% in the first nine months of 2026. These results reflect the progress of the Vietnamese economy and its ability to sustain strong growth.
Hun Manet made the remarks during talks at the Peace Palace on the afternoon of October 9, 2026, with H.E. Le Minh Hung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, who was making an official visit to Cambodia from October 9 to 10, 2026.
Hun Manet also expressed firm confidence that, under the leadership of its Party and State, Viet Nam would achieve double-digit economic growth and meet its two centennial development goals for 2030 and 2045.
