As scheduled on the morning of 11 October 2026, Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, accompanied by Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, led a high-level delegation on an official and working visit to Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Kazakhstan from 12 to 17 October 2026. The trip was made at the invitation of the presidents of the three countries, with the aim of strengthening friendship and expanding bilateral cooperation.
The high-level delegation accompanying Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei included Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, as well as several other ministers and senior officials of the Royal Government. During the visit, Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei will also attend the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), scheduled for 15 October 2026 in Azerbaijan.
At this summit, Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will exchange views with leaders of other member states under the theme "Strengthening the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia: Connectivity, Digital Transformation and Sustainable Growth in Asia." The participation provides Cambodia with an opportunity to exchange views and hold discussions with member states in line with the theme of the summit.
