A newly built Ro-Ro car carrier named "Guang Rong" (ក្វាងរ៉ុង) from Jiangsu Province, China, set sail on the 11th carrying 1,530 new-energy vehicles made in China from the Longtan port area of Nanjing Port, bound for Europe, on its maiden voyage.
This marks another new direct sea route for vehicle transport operated by Nanjing Port, following its existing lines to the Middle East and South America.
The new route will broaden Nanjing Port's international maritime transport network and provide a new shipping option for exporting China-made vehicles to the European market, delivering better advantages in freight costs and transit times.
