Cambodia and Japan sign ¥6.908 billion loan documents for Phnom Penh flood and drainage project

Japan’s foreign ministry confirms that the two sides signed and exchanged notes in Phnom Penh on April 23, 2026, for a ¥6.908 billion loan supporting flood protection and drainage improvements.

Cabinet considers military-service draft covering ages 18–25, with voluntary service for women
