October 29, 2026, is a day of historical significance for the Kingdom of Cambodia, as Cambodian people join in celebrating the 22nd anniversary of the coronation of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni. His Majesty ascended the throne on October 29, 2004, after the Royal Council of the Throne selected him as King of Cambodia.
This auspicious day not only commemorates the solemn coronation ceremony, but also offers a special opportunity for Cambodian people to express their gratitude, respect and affection for the King, who is a symbol of national unity and a source of shelter and protection for people across the country.
On this auspicious occasion, we, the people of Cambodia, express our joy and offer our most respectful good wishes to His Majesty, wishing him excellent health, clear wisdom, strength and a long life.
May His Majesty continue to provide shelter and protection for all Cambodian people, and may all his royal duties succeed in advancing peace, solidarity and prosperity for the Cambodian nation.
