On the afternoon of November 1, 2026, Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications and head of the Royal Government Working Group for Takeo province, presided over the closing ceremony of the dragon boat races held to celebrate the 2026 Water Festival, floating illuminated boats, moon worship and the eating of flattened rice.
The event aimed to help preserve culture and traditions while promoting dragon boat racing and tourism in Takeo province. It took place in a warm, joyful and proud atmosphere under peaceful leadership.
The ceremony was also attended by members of the National Assembly, the Provincial Council and the provincial administration, deputy heads and members of the national-level Royal Government Working Group for Takeo province, heads of provincial departments, units and institutions, and a large number of local residents.
