Cambodia and Singapore are strengthening cooperation on food safety standards and compliance to expand markets for Cambodian food products and support the development of a more competitive food processing industry.
These aims were outlined at a seminar on “Singapore’s Food Import Requirements and Food Safety Standards,” organised by the Embassy of Singapore in Cambodia and the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) in Phnom Penh on the morning of 5 November 2026. The seminar was presided over by Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation. By Srey Pi.
