With the attention of Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth and the guidance of Lieutenant General Sar Ratha, Deputy National Police Commissioner-General and Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant Colonel Ni Channara, head of the Road Traffic Police Office, led officers to take up duty at various locations. Their task was to facilitate traffic for residents and domestic and international tourists visiting Preah Sihanouk province for celebrations marking the transition from 2025 to 2026.
The deployment was intended to make travel convenient and safe for residents and visitors to Preah Sihanouk and prevent traffic congestion in urban centres as well as coastal areas.
