The Health Minister praised and encouraged all healthcare teams, stressing that the quality, safety and dignity of services for mothers, infants and children are top priorities for the national health system.
Health Minister Chheang Ra made the remarks on December 31, 2025, during an unannounced visit to the National Maternal and Child Health Center, also described as the maternal and child health hospital, to observe directly the quality of services being provided to the public.
According to the report, the visit reflected satisfaction among patients and their families, particularly with treatment quality, hygiene, convenient and equitable access to services, and healthcare staff's care, professionalism and responsibility in looking after and treating patients.
