Sihanoukville province welcomed the Marshall Islands-flagged cruise ship SIRENA on Thursday, January 1, 2026, the first day of the New Year. The vessel docked at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, bringing visitors of various nationalities to Cambodia for a one-day visit.
The ship carried 633 tourists, including 333 women, from 35 countries, as well as 393 crew members, including 89 women, from four countries.
The largest groups of tourists were from the United States, with 269 people, and Australia, with 81. The cruise ship was scheduled to depart Sihanoukville Autonomous Port at 5pm the same day.
