On January 4, 2026, Supreme Patriarch Bour Kry, rector of Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University and head of the health post named in the report as “Samdech Preah Reachea Kru Bour Kry Preah Karuna Preah Mahaksat Sihamoni”, visited and blessed frontline soldiers receiving treatment at Cambodia–China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital, also known as the Monks’ Hospital. The ceremony was attended by the Ministry of Cults and Religion secretary of state responsible for general affairs, along with officials, vice-rectors, doctors and medical teams.
During the visit, Bour Kry offered greetings, blessings and financial support to frontline soldiers being treated at the same hospital after injuries sustained in what the report described as the Thai military’s war of aggression.
