The Real Estate Business and Pawnshop Regulator said three housing-development projects had been and were continuing to operate without licences. It urged the public to exercise great caution and avoid doing business with or becoming involved in the projects, which could lead to losses.
In a notice received on January 30, 2026, the regulator identified the Sok Chamroeun row-house development in Tuol Ta Lat village, Kamboul sangkat and district, Phnom Penh; and the EKT detached-villa development and Phsar Ponhea Pon row-house Projects 1 and 2 in Srae Doun Touch village, Ponhea Pon sangkat, Prek Pnov district, Phnom Penh.
The regulator therefore appealed to all members of the public not to do business with or become involved in the three projects, to avoid possible harm or loss of their interests, and asked them to take note and exercise the utmost caution.
