Following guidance from General Sar Thet, National Police Commissioner-General, and direct instructions from Lieutenant General Sar Ratha, deputy national police commissioner and Preah Sihanouk provincial police chief, the provincial Land Traffic Police Office continued actively assisting pupils with traffic on the morning of February 13, 2026.
The activity followed instructions aimed at improving travel safety and reducing congestion on public roads, particularly outside schools.
The assistance was intended both to make it easier for pupils to cross roads and to reduce accident risks and maintain good order outside school gates when pupils left.
The provincial land-traffic office said it would continue the mission regularly, seeking high safety standards at all school entrances and exits in Preah Sihanouk for children and young people, the nation’s next generation. By Pai Sokhim.
