More than 57,700 residents and domestic and international visitors enjoyed resorts and tourism destinations in Battambang province during Chinese New Year on February 17–18, 2026.
On February 19, provincial tourism department deputy director Ham Arun said the department worked with tourism police and relevant authorities on public order, environmental cleanliness and security to help residents and visitors enjoy their trips with confidence and smiles.
Visitors expressed happiness and praised the province’s natural scenery, especially waterside destinations with greenery and cool air, as well as enjoyable food at reasonable prices.
The report described Battambang’s historical, cultural, traditional, artistic and food attractions. At the time, the province listed 115 tourism destinations: 22 resorts, four community and ecotourism sites, 54 tourism areas, two museums, 29 religious tourism sites and four agritourism destinations.
