A Peace fuel station on Russian Federation Boulevard in Ta Nguon 2 village, Kakab 1, Pur Senchey district, Phnom Penh, was fined four million riels and required to sign an on-site corrective undertaking on March 8. Officials said it had sold petrol above Ministry of Commerce guidance.
Specialist officials found prices exceeding the ministry’s notice, immediately fined the operator and required compliance with applicable law and technical regulations. Phnom Penh authorities also announced closer monitoring of fuel-price compliance across the capital.
Peace Petroleum (Cambodia) apologised for the incident and thanked citizens who supplied information. The company pledged stronger monitoring and strict measures to ensure all its stations followed stipulated prices and provided transparent, fair service.
