SIEM REAP: Addressing inappropriate activities at Angkor, the APSARA National Authority called on the public to cooperate with tourism-service and order teams when they inquire about certain photography or video activities while carrying out their duties.
The appeal aims to prevent filming that could adversely affect society, heritage and national culture, including performances or filming contrary to the Angkor Code of Conduct, inappropriate clothing, fashion walks, improper actions, unauthorised product promotion and activities that disrupt Cambodian or international visitors. The authority said the measures were intended to conserve and uphold national heritage.
APSARA thanked members of the public who respectfully help protect and promote national heritage, culture and traditions.
It also continued to support visits, souvenir photography and videos expressing respect and appreciation for national heritage, culture and traditions.
