Preah Sihanouk: Sihanoukville’s administration issued a notice strictly prohibiting all types of drones around the blessing and groundbreaking ceremony for the provincial police administrative building in Village 1, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province.
The notice said Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sar Sokha, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction Say Sam Al, who also headed the government working group for Preah Sihanouk, were scheduled to preside over the ceremony on March 12, 2026.
To ensure security, order and safety for leaders and guests, the city prohibited drones used for photography, filming or other information gathering around the ceremony grounds from March 11 to 12, 2026.
Authorities said unauthorised drone flights would be stopped immediately through legal measures and that they would not accept responsibility for any resulting damage.
The administration asked the public to note the announcement and cooperate responsibly to ensure the ceremony proceeded smoothly and safely. By: KPS99TV.
