On the morning of March 12, 2026, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Dith Tina received German Ambassador to Cambodia Stefan Messerer and a delegation from Germany’s Fuchs Gruppe, led by CEO Nils Meyer-Pries, for a courtesy call and working discussion at the ministry.
The minister highlighted positive agricultural cooperation between Cambodia and Germany, particularly support for Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training that helps improve the quality and standards of Cambodian produce to meet international market requirements.
Dith Tina welcomed Fuchs Gruppe’s initiative to explore investment in processing Cambodian pepper, which he regarded as a product with strong potential. Such investment could add value along agricultural supply chains and promote exports of Cambodian produce to global markets.
Both sides expressed optimism about stronger long-term cooperation to advance agricultural trade and improve the efficiency and sustainability of Cambodian agriculture. Written by KPS99TV.
