The Tourism Ministry has announced a selection examination for regional tour guides seeking admission to the seventh national tour-guide training intake, to be held at Human Resource University in Phnom Penh.
The programme aims to develop tourism-sector human resources and improve the professional skills, quality and standards of tourism services.
The ministry encourages women and men with experience as regional tour guides to apply, strengthen their professional abilities and develop their careers in tourism.
Successful candidates will undertake seven months of training on Saturdays and Sundays: five months of theory and two months of field practice and research at tourism destinations.
