Phnom Penh: Tourism Minister Huot Hak, chair of the interministerial committee organising the tenth River Festival in 2026, led a committee meeting to review progress and accelerate preparations for the event in Kratie province.
The meeting aimed to review key activities and coordinate ministries, relevant institutions and local authorities so the tenth River Festival could proceed smoothly and safely and attract domestic and international visitors.
The 2026 River Festival was scheduled for three days, March 27, 28 and 29, in Kratie, with cultural, sporting and tourism activities and local-product exhibitions expected to promote riverside tourism and stimulate the local economy. By: KPS99TV.
