The task force on old and dilapidated buildings, led by Under-Secretary of State and task-force chair Serey Sorya, completed its dealings with residents living in the former Padivatt Primary School building in Phnom Penh after successive procedural steps. The building was described as hazardous and in a dangerous condition.
After resolving those matters, the task force inspected the site to begin preparing demolition procedures.
Serey Sorya also coordinated with a technical consultancy to inspect the former school and two neighbouring structures in preparation for demolition procedures.
Participants included Under-Secretary of State and deputy task-force chair Phim Runsinarath, ministry adviser Ya Sadet, a deputy governor of Daun Penh district, a Maybank team, the old-building task force and other relevant officials. Writer: Pai Sokhim.
