Summary

Preah Sihanouk Deputy Governor Long Dimanche chaired a meeting on May 15, 2026, to review Goldenlinkpro’s second import request, including its item list and eligibility for tax incentives.

Preah Sihanouk Deputy Governor Long Dimanche chaired a meeting on the afternoon of May 15, 2026, to review Goldenlinkpro (Cambodia) Hardware Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s request to import machinery, equipment and raw materials for its tool-manufacturing factory under incentives covering customs duty, special tax and value-added tax borne by the state. The meeting took place in Preah Sihanouk province.

ឃាង ភារម្យ, Director of the Provincial Administration’s Planning and Investment Division, said the company had previously submitted an equipment import request to the provincial investment subcommittee. This was its second request, with the proposed imports valued at more than US$20 million.

He said that after receiving the company’s request through the provincial one-window service, the working team coordinated with customs to review and prepare the relevant import documentation.
The Preah Sihanouk Customs and Excise Branch reviewed the documents and list of proposed imports. It found that some items could receive tax incentives, while others were not production equipment eligible for customs duty and special-tax relief. Customs asked the company to identify the items clearly so that eligible categories could be determined.

On behalf of the provincial investment subcommittee, the deputy governor agreed with the list provided by customs and instructed the subcommittee secretariat to complete the documentation for the governor’s review and approval, before forwarding it to the Customs and Excise Branch to issue the company’s approval.
