The exercise was scheduled to run for three days, from May 18 to 20, to gather accurate and comprehensive personnel data, strengthen accountability and support public administration reform.

The report said the checks were intended to keep administrative work and public services running smoothly and efficiently, without disrupting services for citizens and businesses.

The inspection was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service Hun Many, who chaired the census committee, together with Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul. Leaders, civil servants and contract staff at all levels of the Commerce Ministry took part.
