The National Police General Commissariat said six road crashes occurred nationwide on June 11, 2026, killing three people and injuring eight.
The same report identified leading causes as driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, failing to respect right of way and overtaking without sufficient care.
Authorities also urged all drivers and travellers to follow traffic laws strictly, avoid speeding, refrain from driving after drinking alcohol and not use vehicles carrying people or goods beyond capacity, to help reduce crashes and loss of life on the roads. By: Pai Sokhim
