Persistent heavy rain caused flooding in parts of Kampong Seila district, Preah Sihanouk province, on July 12, 2026. District authorities therefore called on all residents and travellers to exercise great caution when crossing flooded areas, according to a notice issued by the district administration that Sunday afternoon.
Some Cambodian provinces were expected to continue experiencing rain, gusty winds and thunderstorms covering 30–50% of their area from July 12 to 14, 2026.
