H.E. Kittisangahapundit Kun Kim, Senior Minister and First Vice-Chairman of the National Committee for Disaster Management, presided over the handover of 102 homes donated by Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen to veterans and retirees. Of these, 50 homes were provided through H.E. ភឺន ផល្លា and Lok Chumteav Oknha សាយ សោភា. The ceremony took place in តាកឹងបៃតង village, Thmei commune, Kulen district, Preah Vihear province, on September 20, 2026.
On the occasion, Kun Kim said: “As Secretary-General of the Cambodian Veterans and Retirees Association, I would like to express gratitude for the close attention of Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, who have always regarded addressing the difficulties of veterans and retirees as an invaluable humanitarian task. Our country’s peace, stability and development today are the result of the sacrifices made by veterans and retirees.”
The 102 homes were built alongside temporary homes for people displaced by the fighting, with roads, electricity, clean water, schools and health posts among the facilities provided to meet daily needs. By: Srey Pi
