Although Cambodia is not directly in the path of Storm No. 27, “Choi-wan,” the country will continue to feel its effects. The weather outlook for October 6–8, 2026, is as follows:
Lowland areas: Rain, lightning and gusty winds may affect 50% of the area.
Highland areas: Rain, lightning and gusty winds may affect 60% of the area.
Coastal areas: Rain, lightning and gusty winds may affect 40% of the area, with waves of 0.50–1.75 metres.
