Kep Province: On October 10, 2026, in strict implementation of the orders of the Brig. General, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie of Kep Province, the provincial Royal Gendarmerie forces, in coordination with the city and district Royal Gendarmerie forces, conducted mobile patrols and deployed on-duty personnel at key locations within the jurisdiction of Kep Province.
The operation aims to strengthen public security and safety, maintain social order, and prevent, deter, and crack down on all types of offenses that may occur, in order to guarantee safety for the people, as well as domestic and international tourists visiting and enjoying themselves within Kep Province during the Kan Ben observances and Pchum Ben festival.
Through these enhanced patrols and preparation of intervention forces, the Royal Gendarmerie of Kep Province continues to fulfill its roles and duties to maintain public security, safety, and order, and to create a pleasant and joyful atmosphere for all citizens and tourists during this Khmer traditional festival.
