His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, held a working meeting and discussed the establishment of tourism cooperation with Mr. Goydaniz Gahramanov, President of the Association of Travel Agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ATAA), whose membership comprises more than 300 leading travel companies and senior partners, on 13 October 2026 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Through this fruitful discussion, both sides agreed to organize a familiarization visit (FAM Trip) to learn about Cambodia's tourism potential and investment opportunities, along with coordination by the Ministry of Tourism to connect with Cambodia's tourism association and tour operators, so that the Association of Travel Agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan can hold discussions and proceed to create tour packages to Cambodia in order to increase the number of tourists, travelers and investors between the two countries.
