Registration channels
Separate registration and specialised licences
Business registration, tax registration, notices of opening and establishment-related registration, and specialised licences can involve different authorities. Define the enterprise form and actual activities, then prepare documents using the government portal’s service categories and user guides. One submission should not be assumed to satisfy every sector requirement.
Practical steps for online registration
The government portal uses a CamDigiKey account to sign in. Read the relevant user guide, prepare enterprise, activity and service-specific documents, then complete the form, upload documents and confirm fees before submission. Use the portal’s progress and notification functions, and retain submission records, payment evidence and digital certificates.
Returned and rejected applications differ
The portal explains that incorrect or incomplete applications can be returned for correction, with the review period restarting on resubmission. Rejection closes the case and is different from a return. For progress, document or payment issues, contact portal support about the specific application before resubmitting; a timeframe for one service is not a promise for every licence.
After registration
Check ongoing licences, information updates and annual-declaration requirements for the actual activities. Enterprises considering investment-project status should separately review the QIP forms and checklist. Fees depend on enterprise form, services, activities and taxpayer classification; confirm the applicable items in the registration system.
