Phnom Penh's dining market is welcoming another internationally renowned brand. Recently, JS Group and British celebrity chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsay announced that their restaurant brand "Gordon Ramsay Burger" will enter Cambodia, with the first store planned for Phnom Penh.
According to officially released information, the restaurant will be located on the 42nd floor of JS Tower in Phnom Penh, at the top of the Planet Hollywood hotel. Thanks to its high-rise location, the restaurant is expected to offer diners an experience unlike traditional street-level venues.
The store is still in preparation, and a specific launch date has yet to be announced. This collaboration also marks the first time "Gordon Ramsay Burger" has entered the Southeast Asian market, adding a new option to Phnom Penh's upscale dining scene.
The Managing Director of JS Group said the group was honored to partner with Gordon Ramsay and his team, and hoped to bring international dining, hospitality and lifestyle experiences to Cambodian consumers.
Beyond introducing an international brand, both parties also hope to create learning opportunities for young Cambodians, allowing them to be exposed to international culinary standards and gain professional experience. Gordon Ramsay is widely known for hosting shows such as "Hell's Kitchen" and "MasterChef," and the brand's entry has put Phnom Penh's dining market in the spotlight.
