Summary

The Association of Cambodian Students in China donated 130,770,000 riel in three instalments through the Senate for frontline soldiers and displaced people.

The Association of Cambodian Students in the People’s Republic of China expressed strong confidence and trust in the Royal Government of Cambodia under Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, the Cambodian armed forces and the leadership of the Cambodian People’s Party chaired by Samdech Techo Hun Sen in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Khmer homeland, particularly rescuing and protecting citizens from aggression by Thai forces.

Responding to an appeal by Ou Vuththy, the association’s founder and board chairman and an assistant to Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen, its working group organised the Association of Cambodian Students in China (ACSC) fund to support frontline soldiers and displaced people along the Cambodia–Thailand border through the Cambodian Senate.

The donations were handed over in three instalments totalling 130,770,000 riel: 16,800,000 riel to the Cambodian Senate on July 28, 2025; 53,970,000 riel on August 18, 2025; and 60,000,000 riel on December 22, 2025. They were presented to Senate First Vice-President Ouch Borith through coordination by Mom Bun Neang, chairman of the Senate’s 10th commission and deputy chairman of the friendship group between the Cambodian Senate and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

These were voluntary humanitarian contributions intended to work alongside the Senate and the Royal Government of Cambodia in supporting frontline soldiers and tens of thousands of Khmer displaced people suffering from Thai military aggression.
