On December 26, the Preah Sihanouk provincial administration held a public-road handover ceremony, bringing two newly built concrete roads into the public road network. The roads, funded by the owner of POLO City and transferred to the government free of charge for public use, are in Village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

According to the report, one road is 12 metres wide and 480 metres long, while the other is 15 metres wide and 200 metres long. Stormwater drainage, wastewater-treatment facilities and clean-water supply pipelines were installed alongside construction. The report described the overall planning as sound and comprehensive, improving access and municipal services in the surrounding area.

At the handover ceremony, Governor Mang Sineth thanked the business for actively contributing to public infrastructure. He said the new roads would markedly improve travel conditions for residents and visitors and help enhance the city’s capacity and overall image. He called on all sectors of society to maintain public road facilities together so they could be used safely, properly and over the long term, continuing to serve the city’s development.
