The Commerce Ministry’s latest figures show that Cambodia’s foreign trade maintained strong growth throughout 2025, reaching US$65.24 billion, up 17.66% year on year. The report described this as demonstrating the resilience and vitality of Cambodia’s foreign trade amid a complex and changing global economic environment.

Commerce Ministry spokesman Pen Sovicheat said Cambodia’s exports totalled US$31.28 billion in 2025, an increase of 16.95%, while imports were US$33.96 billion, up 18.32%. Despite numerous uncertainties in international markets, Cambodia kept its main export markets stable and achieved continued growth across several product categories.

The figures show that Cambodia’s principal export markets include ASEAN countries, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and India, among other countries and regions. Its export mix continued to diversify, with major products including garments and textiles, footwear, travel goods and luggage, vehicle tyres, cashew nuts, rice, cassava, electronic components and automotive components.
The spokesman said the stable international-market presence and continuing improvement of the export mix had provided strong support for Cambodia’s economic growth and laid a sound foundation for continued foreign-trade development in 2026.
