BTV Cambodia notified its audience and social media users: “We would like to inform you that some fake video clips and news content are currently circulating on social media, using and imitating BTV’s logo without permission.”
The Cambodian government’s spokesperson channel, PR Cambodian Government, also issued a clarification describing the posted material as false information. It alleged that opposition groups abroad had created it to distort facts and fabricate stories attacking the government. Written by: Lay Kol
