Phnom Penh: International company VINCI Group, known for managing and operating major airports around the world, expressed its commitment to strengthen cooperation with Cambodia in promoting its tourism potential internationally and attracting more visitors.
The commitment was made during a March 10, 2026 courtesy and working meeting at the Tourism Ministry between Minister Huot Hak and Emmanuel Menanteau, a member of VINCI Airports’ executive committee and chairman of Société Concessionnaire de l’Aéroport (SCA).
The company updated the minister on activities and progress at major Cambodian airports, including the airport in Preah Sihanouk province and the Techo International Airport project. They also discussed tourism prospects and opportunities to work with the ministry and the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) on destination-promotion campaigns.
Huot Hak praised and thanked VINCI Group for its active contribution to aviation development and support for Cambodian tourism growth over the years.
He stressed that closer aviation–tourism cooperation was important for international air connectivity and for making Cambodian tourism more sustainable and competitive regionally and internationally.
Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation and prepare tourism-promotion action plans to attract more international visitors in the future.
