On the morning of March 19, 2026, Information Ministry Secretary of State Huot Kheang Veng chaired a meeting to review a draft prakas on the organisation and operation of offices under departments of the General Secretariat, general departments and national-level units.
The meeting aimed to strengthen organisational systems and operational capacity within the ministry to meet current needs in information and public communication more effectively.
Participants included undersecretaries of state, advisers, secretaries-general, directors-general, their deputies, department heads and deputy heads, who offered comments and examined the draft in detail.
The meeting took place in Preah Vihear Hall at the ministry’s Phnom Penh headquarters. The report described it as an important step towards clearer structures and improved management and future implementation. By: KPS 99TV
