Preah Sihanouk road traffic police briefed 27 E-Gets delivery-company personnel, including one woman, on traffic law and the safe village–commune policy to improve driving safety. The session was held in Group 9, Village 5, Commune 4, Sihanoukville.
Following guidance from National Police Commissioner General Sar Thet and direct instructions from Lieutenant General Sar Ratha, deputy national police commissioner and provincial police chief, traffic officers held the session on the afternoon of March 18, 2026. They worked with Commune 4 administrative police, the deputy commune chief and a representative of the provincial Public Works and Transport Department.
Topics included the policy’s seven safe-community criteria, safe driving, the benefits of helmets and compliance with traffic rules: no driving against traffic, dangerous overtaking or speeding, obeying signs and traffic lights, and avoiding drugs.
The report said the briefing aimed to improve delivery workers’ understanding of driving rules because they use roads extensively each day. Compliance helps prevent accidents that could harm them or others.
