By 8 a.m. on March 25, search teams had recovered the bodies of all eight people missing after a boat sank at Koh Dach in Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changvar district. Koh Dach police post chief Chhuon Oudom said teams had searched day and night. Thirteen people of different ages were aboard, including seven females.

The small boat sank in mid-river near Kbal Koh village, Koh Dach commune, Chroy Changvar district, on the morning of March 23. Five people were rescued and eight died. Overloading was suspected because the boat was small. The eight bodies were handed to their families for funeral arrangements.
