Early childhood education lays a vital foundation for future human resources in Preah Sihanouk and the country as a whole. On March 25, 2026, Kim Sophak Mang Sineth, honorary president of the Preah Sihanouk provincial branch of the Cambodian Women’s Association for Peace and Development, visited community preschool children in Kampong Seila district.
She expressed concern for early education in remote communities and for the wellbeing and learning conditions of children and teachers.
The visit reached 64 children and three teachers from three community preschools.
She provided books, pens, pencils and other learning materials, snacks and some financial support to children and teachers.
She encouraged parents and teachers to care for children’s health and learning as a foundation for the country’s future citizens. By: Pai Sokhim
