Minister of Mines and Energy Keo Rottanak met a vice president of France’s TotalEnergies to discuss oil and gas supply.
According to the minister’s account, the company is a major supplier in regional markets including Vietnam and India, and liquefied petroleum gas is facing a severe shortage. The company’s representative urged consumers in Cambodia to conserve energy as much as possible while the war continues.
The representative said diesel and petrol prices had risen but their supply was relatively more stable than LPG supply, and expressed the company’s commitment to continue supporting Cambodia in addressing energy challenges.
