Cambodia adjusted retail fuel prices on March 29, 2026. According to the Commerce Ministry announcement cited in the article, regular petrol fell to 5,000 riel per litre, about US$1.25, down 450 riel, while diesel rose to 7,200 riel per litre, about US$1.80, up 100 riel. The report describes this as diesel’s seventh consecutive increase since March 8.
To ease the impact of high international oil prices and household costs, the report says the government provided a cumulative subsidy of about 7.5 US cents per litre and reduced several import taxes and charges to zero or very low levels. The announced prices were to remain in effect until further notice.
