According to the report, Senior Minister Kun Kim, First Vice-President of the National Committee for Disaster Management, inspected temporary housing construction and connections to electricity and clean-water systems for residents displaced by conflict in ថ្នល់បែក village, ថ្មី commune, គូលែន district, Preah Vihear province.
During the visit, he met residents staying there temporarily with support from the Cambodian veterans and retirees’ association and enquired about their welfare.
He urged residents to help maintain clean, tidy and hygienic surroundings around the shelters. He also instructed the construction teams to pay attention to quality and efficiency so that the housing would remain usable over the long term and provide a safe place for residents.
