According to the report, Deputy National Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Dy Vichea, head of a joint working group, chaired a coordination meeting on May 7 to discuss investigations into killings of Chinese citizens in Cambodia.
The meeting brought together specialist National Police departments and provincial and municipal police chiefs, with the aim of strengthening cooperation among law-enforcement agencies in major criminal investigations.
The report said Dy Vichea also met representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia that day. They discussed case progress, information exchange and sharing leads, and said they would strengthen police cooperation to advance the investigations.
