According to the report, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha joined the reception for Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife Pich Chanmony Hun Manet as the Cambodian government delegation returned after attending the 48th ASEAN Summit and related meetings in Cebu, the Philippines.
The report said the reception took place at Techo International Airport on the night of May 8, 2026, attended by senior leaders, civil servants and members of the armed forces. It characterised Cambodia’s participation as strengthening the country’s regional and international role and reflecting its commitment to ASEAN cooperation, peace and sustainable development.
