Summary

Vendors cited in the May 12, 2026 report expected rambutan harvesting the following week or by the end of that month. Grade-one Kampot durians were quoted at 18,000–22,000 riels per kilogram at the time.

In a May 12, 2026 report, fruit vendors along the road to the ទឹកឈូ resort said that locally grown fruit included durians, mangosteens, rambutans, jackfruit and bananas. Durians were harvested first, while rambutan harvesting was expected to start “next week” or, at the latest, by the end of that month.
The same source said Kampot durians were plentiful at the time, with grade-one fruit priced at 18,000–22,000 riels per kilogram.
The report said orchard owners expressed satisfaction with their harvests and sales and urged residents and vendors to support local fruit, particularly produce from Tuek Chhou, to help promote Cambodian agricultural products.
According to an agriculture official in Makprang Commune cited by the report, farmers around the ទឹកឈូ resort mainly grew durians, with rambutans and mangosteens as secondary crops. More than 20 households grew these crops in orchards, while others interplanted them in durian orchards. Text: Pai Sokhim (ប៉ៃ សុឃីម)
